Signal healing: fixing the seam in looping audio

Reeldemo research on repairing the break where a music loop or instrument cycle fails to join cleanly.

Reeldemoaudio

A loop should feel endless. Many do not. Where the end meets the start, you hear a click, a buzz, or a rough edge that returns every time the sound wraps.

Signal healing fixes that join. It does not clean a whole recording. It works on the seam where one cycle should connect to the next.

The middle of a cycle can sound fine. Trouble shows up when the end tries to become the beginning again. If that handoff is wrong, the whole loop feels broken.

Simple fades can hide a seam once and still fail when the cycle repeats. Signal healing looks for a repair that keeps the sound useful and holds up as the loop keeps going.

This work sits inside Reeldemo’s music tools, where clean looping matters for digital instruments and studio sound. Wavetable synths, repeating textures, and Ableton sessions all need joins you do not notice.

When it works, the loop disappears. You just hear the sound.
